"The late Floyd Thomas, Jr. was approixmately one of 25 children born from the union of Mr. Floyd Thomas Sr. and Mrs. Sadie B. Thomas. He was united in holy matrimony to Miss Aretha Long. From this union fifteen children (15) born. He was a member of the Church of Christ in B'ton, FL. He was affectionately also know as "AhcaAhca" due to rapid pace of verbal expression. He served in the United States Army during WWII.
He left to mourn his passing, a devoted wife, Aretha, 15 Children, one of whom preceded him in death, Marion Jean. One of which was later acknowledged as half-brother, Robert of Hope Sound, Fl. (8) daughters: Joy Thomas Griffin, Anita Thomas Owens, Aretha Thomas Keith of Seattle, WA. Betty Schoot of Dothan, AL. Jacqueline, Patricia, Cheryl, and Karen Renee Thomas of B'ton, FL. (7) Sons: Jerome, James, Donald, Alphonso of St. Petersburg, Emory and Wayne of B'ton, FL.
